Matrix Reasoning
Executive Function

Complete the pattern! You'll see a matrix with a missing piece — identify the underlying rule and select the correct completion. This non-verbal reasoning task measures your ability to identify patterns, deduce rules, and apply logic. Used in intelligence testing to measure fluid intelligence and abstract reasoning ability.

How to Play

  • Each grid follows a hidden rule across rows and columns.
  • The bottom-right cell is missing — choose it from 4 options.
  • Rules grow harder: color, shape, count, rotation, then combined.
  • 30s per puzzle; 3 wrong answers ends the game.

Scoring

  • Correct = clamp(1000 − rt, 100, 1000) × difficulty (1.0–2.5).
  • Wrong or timeout = −100.
  • Total = sum of all puzzles.

Tips

  • Scan one attribute at a time (color, then shape, then count).
  • Check both the row and the column of the missing cell.

Stroop Challenge

Executive Function

Face the famous Stroop effect! You'll see color words printed in conflicting colors — your task is to name the ink color, not read the word. This cognitive conflict training strengthens your brain's ability to inhibit automatic responses and focus on relevant information. A cornerstone of executive function training.

Tower of Logic

Executive Function

Solve the classic Tower of Hanoi puzzle! Move the stack of disks from one peg to another, following the rules: only one disk at a time, and never place a larger disk on a smaller one. Plan your moves carefully to solve it in the minimum number of steps. This classic problem-solving task trains planning, foresight, and logical reasoning.
